Medico-Legal & Court Experiences:

I prepare on average 300 - 400 reports per annum on injury and medical negligence cases; the distribution being approximately 60% plaintiff and 40% defence cases.  I average 12 Court appearances per annum, with my evidence being accepted over 80% of cases in the past year in  where I have been called to trial.  I have a database with settlement values, but this is not quoted, as the individual cases very, although I would say that most cases are in five to six figure awards.  My practice is beginning to show a bias more towards 50/50 defence to plaintiff work and of I feel a case is unsustainable, my practice is to advise the instructing solicitors, rather than continue with what I feel to be unreasonable expectations.

I continue to practice and carry out Medico-Legal Clinics in Birmingham Nuffield Hospital, Sussex Nuffield Hospital Brighton, 15 Harley Street, London, BUPA Hospital Manchester, BUPA Hospital, Norwich, Claremont Hospital, Sheffield, Cornwall House Clinic, Stoke and Rosebank Surgery, Gloucester.
